Also to overcome the ways of the world. 2001-06-09 The Lord blessed you with an understanding of the world's problems and of humanity. 2001-07-01 You will have the wisdom and courage to resist the follies and vices of the world and keep yourself pure and clean and worthy at all times. 2001-08-12 Never compromise your principles or standards or beliefs for the sake of popularity or gain or worldly pleasure. There will be those who deride and criticize and even exhibit hatred, but know that deep down in the recesses of their hearts they will know that you are right and that the truth is in you. These properly used will multiply your capabilities, but if abused will cover your ears to the shutting out of the still small voice and glue your eyes to screens distorting your view that you cannot see to discern between truth and error. 2006-12-10 Avoid the evils of the world by keeping your speech and dress clean and proper. 2007-08-16 Your choices of good quality in culture will strengthen you and others against the darkness and subtleties of the world. 2008-01-27 You have been raised as a calf in a stall in a world filled with turmoil, noise, and uncertainty. 2008-04-20 The media and other things of the world will not be able to tempt you beyond your ability to withstand. 2008-06-08 We are living in challenging times and there will be great need in your life to hold fast to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, be where the Lord would have you be and ever strive to serve the Father. 2009-07-05 You live at a time when sin is rampant upon the earth. 2010-02-14 Now we live in a world of great turmoil and concern. Lucifer is running to and fro upon the earth with his angels trying to deceive the very elect of God. He is having great success with his evil, carnal, and sensual ways. He is turning the hearts of many people to pornography, immorality, and unrighteous and impure relationships. 2012-11-18 Though this is one of the greatest times in the history of the world, it is also one of the worst of times. Sin and iniquity about on earth. Commotions and calamities will continue. The evil one is reviling against the children of God, for his time is short. You will bring light and hope to those who feel hopeless, discouraged and despair because of the mists of darkness and philosophies of men. 2014-01-29 You will recall looking around you millions of souls who are also of Abraham's seed who are struggling in the world, wandering without direction or counsel trying to find their way in life. 2014-05-18 I bless you that through your faith you will have the power to resist the sophistries of the adversary and avoid the distractions of the world that would seek to move you away from places of safety. I bless you that you will have the power to resist the influences of the world that would seek to intrude upon the spirit you will be able to maintain in your home. 2015-06-28 Your testimony will help you as you navigate the pitfalls of this world. We live in troubled times. 2015-07-31 You will be able to raise your children in the gospel in a very difficult age and time in the world 2015-08-23 'The Family Proclamation' outlines many of the things that families should be doing to overcome the evils in the world today. 2015-11-29 There will be many obstacles and societal impairments of the world in which you live. 2016-05-01 You will see great things occur within the Kingdom of God, even as the world around you begins to embrace the things of evil. You will be a light in that dark world, and in that darkness your light will shine, and it will light the hearts of many. You will be a beacon in this world of darkness. 2016-07-29 Satan spends his entire time trying to convince society that sacred things are no longer important in the eyes of God. He teaches that infidelity, immorality and vulgarity are all acceptable. As you live among the peoples of the world and see the evils about you, I give you a blessing of the power of discernment, that you might be able to recognize right from wrong and that you will have the strength to choose the right. 2019-05-05 At this time, where the complexities and confusions of the world are greater than they've ever been, it is your challenge to introduce and reinforce sanity and spirituality. Blessing #23 This is a very wicked world you are living in and Satan may prompt you to do things. Blessing #33 I bless you, as you go forth from this day, to be filled with the power to overcome the obstacles of life that you shall face - to overcome Satan and the temptations and evils of the world. I bless you with strength, faith and courage in the face of the wars and evils that shall continue to increase until the Savior comes to rule and reign in the millennial era. Blessing #80 Lucifer, who tried to deceive you, shall bring many temptations into your life, games of the world that waste precious time, lustful images found among this generation meant to destroy. Blessing #273 The Lord will help you gain strength and help you to overcome worldly desires that you might have within you the strength to live the life that you know to be true.
